Understanding what truly creates value and what my client therefore needs is my first priority. It makes me happy when I can observe how a fleshed-out and well-conceived solution is brought to life and makes a difference. I have implemented data-wrangling jobs on Foundry, Machine Learning models in plain scipy, and interactive dashboards for sales representatives in PowerBI. I enjoy working both on the nitty-gritty of PoCs, as well as the complexities of full platforms governing the entire life cycles of datasets. It’s always a team effort, which is why in the future, I would like to take more responsibility in a leadership role.

- Further develop the governance around the Foundry instance of a large Swiss reinsurance company.
- Establish a Foundry platform for data from several ESG data providers, distributed internally, for a large Swiss bank. Implement a pipeline for resolving the company IDs across several data providers, creating a unique ESG Company ID, and matching them with internal IDs of our client (aka “Entity Resolution”).

Investigate the mathematics of and experiment with a new kind of biologically-plausible neural networks, enabling memory-requiring tasks.
I conducted multiple ML experiments with custom Neural Networks.

Improve the classification performance of CNNs and Transformers on 128x128px mammography images with GAN-generated synthetic data.

I rotated through all five business-units of Deloitte via the Analytics Journey, a traineeship program, and worked on the following projects:
- Develop an AI solution for the automatic extraction of hardcopy tax notices and an innovative administration tool for the internal post office (Python, Abbyy, ASP.NET, Angular)
- Implement and present a regression system to predict sales ratios for a manufacturer of nicotine products to improve their distribution channels (Python data science stack (SciPy etc.), PowerBI, PowerPoint)
- Develop an interactive dashboard for a consumer goods firm enhancing sales negotiations with retailers in the German market (PowerBI, MS SQL)
- Advice on establishing a Center of Excellence for Process and Task Mining in a large German industrial manufacturing company (Celonis, PowerPoint)
Advise program control on setting up and running global IT-systems to enable a smooth customer-ecosystem for a large German car maker.

After studying Java in school, this was my first occupation to earn money with coding.
